Novo Guitars Serus J HH Custom | Bull Black

The Novo Serus JHH takes everything we love about vintage offset guitars and reimagines it through Novo’s distinctly modern Nashville perspective. It feels familiar from the first chord, but there's an undeniable sense that you're playing something special. The shorter scale length, substantial neck carve, and resonant construction give it the kind of effortless feel that makes you lose track of time once it's in your hands.

Finished in Bull Black with subtle aging, this build has a timeless, understated look to it. The figured maple neck and polished aluminum guard create a striking contrast that feels equal parts vintage custom build and boutique showpiece. It's the sort of guitar that doesn't need flashy colors or over-the-top appointments to stand out.

Plugged in, the Lollartrons deliver a voice that's clear, punchy, and incredibly dynamic. There’s a sweetness and openness to the sound that sits somewhere between a traditional humbucker and a great vintage Filter'Tron-style guitar, making it equally at home for clean, chimey passages or gritty, driven tones. Combined with Novo's famously resonant platform and expressive vibrato system, the result is a guitar full of character, feel, and inspiration; the kind of instrument that reminds you why boutique guitars exist in the first place.
