The PRS Custom 24 is the original PRS model, offering unparalleled playability, versatility, and tone since its debut. A favorite among internationally touring artists and gigging musicians, this iconic instrument features a beautifully figured maple top paired with a mahogany back, and a 24-fret, 25” scale length mahogany neck with a rosewood fretboard. Known for its flawless craftsmanship, the Custom 24 is equipped with PRS’s patented Gen III tremolo and Phase III locking tuners with wing buttons, ensuring stable tuning and smooth playability.
At the heart of the Custom 24 are the PRS DMO treble and bass pickups. Designed by Paul Reed Smith and the PRS engineering team, these Dynamic, Musical, and Open pickups deliver a clear, balanced sound across all frequencies, offering a “wide open” tone with vocal character. Paired with a 5-way blade switch, this guitar delivers exceptional versatility, ideal for any style of music.
