PRS Modern Eagle V Sprayer's Choice | Gold to Red Sparkle Fade

The PRS Modern Eagle V represents the absolute peak of modern PRS design—where premium tonewoods, cutting‑edge electronics, and world‑class craftsmanship come together in a truly elite instrument. This particular example pushes things even further as a Sprayer’s Choice guitar, one of the rarest and most visually expressive finishes to leave the PRS factory.

Sprayer’s Choice means complete artistic freedom for PRS’s master finish artists. There are no templates, no repeatable formulas, and no two finishes are ever the same. Each guitar is a one‑of‑one creation, making these instruments especially desirable to collectors and players who want something genuinely unique.

On this Modern Eagle V, that freedom results in a breathtaking gold‑to‑deep‑crimson sparkle fade that feels almost molten under the lights. The top glows with brilliant metallic gold at the upper bout before cascading into rich ruby and deep garnet tones toward the lower body. Layers of metallic flake create incredible depth and movement, shifting and shimmering as the angle changes. It’s not just a finish—it’s a piece of functional art. Beneath that stunning exterior lies everything that makes the Modern Eagle V such a remarkable instrument. A flame maple select top sits atop a mahogany back, paired with a mahogany neck and East Indian rosewood fretboard and veneer. This guitar balances warmth, articulation, and dynamic response with effortless clarity.

Tonally, the Modern Eagle V is incredibly versatile. Its hum/single/hum configuration—featuring TCI treble and bass pickups with the NS‑01 middle pickup—covers a massive tonal spectrum. From full, authoritative humbucker tones to glassy single‑coil textures and complex in‑between sounds, the intuitive control layout allows players to shape their voice instantly.

Rare, visually electrifying, and sonically limitless, this PRS Modern Eagle V Sprayer's Choice is more than just a premium guitar. It’s a one‑off creation from the PRS finishing department—an instrument that exists only once. For players and collectors alike, pieces like this don’t come around often.
