This is not your everyday Custom 24.

Built as a Semi-Hollow Custom 24 with a single F-hole, this special-order example takes PRS’ flagship design somewhere considerably more exotic. The semi-hollow construction brings additional resonance and openness to the familiar Custom 24 platform, while an Artist Grade Flame Maple top, ebony fretboard and headstock veneer, Korean Awabi Old School Birds, Smoked Black hardware and DMO pickups push the specification well beyond a standard Core model. At just 6 lbs 14 oz, it’s remarkably light as well.

Then there’s the finish. This guitar was ordered as a Sprayer’s Choice, giving the team at PRS freedom to create a custom finish rather than selecting a standard production colour: Glacier Mist/Trans Blue Sparkle. The result is genuinely unlike anything we’ve had through the gallery. Glacier Mist washes the highly figured maple in an icy blend of silver, pale blue and cool grey. Photographs simply don't capture it: the Artist top has incredible depth and three-dimensional movement in person, shifting dramatically as the guitar catches the light. Flip it over and the mahogany is covered in a translucent blue sparkle that leaves the natural grain visible underneath while creating a shimmering metallic layer above it. The effect continues across the neck and headstock and ties the entire guitar together.

It’s an extraordinary combination: the iconic feel and versatility of a Custom 24, the resonance and rarity of a semi-hollow build, and an Artist-level aesthetic capped by a completely individual Sprayer’s Choice finish. One of those guitars that is impressive in photographs and absolutely ridiculous in person.
